EMMA HAS 1ST BIRTHDAY

My grandaughter Emma turned one year old on the 21st May.I phoned her in the UK, Hannah put the phone by her ear and apparently she smiled when she heard my voice.
I would love to have been with Edward and Hannah on this special occasion.
Emmylou has received some of the pictures from the great event and I will be posting these on the blog very soon.

I must thank Steven Chaplin for tyding my blogger so that some of the titles don't dissapear.(He is Alison's brother and lives in Auckland New Zealand)

My brother Bernhard is currently in the USA trying to raise financial support for him and Colleen with the view of planting another Church. Please pray for him that God would once again provide.

Otherwise Llewelyn continues to get fit.I am cycling twice a week, running 5km twice a week, swimming for an hour on a Saturday and have started playing tennis on a Thursday night.2kg have come off with 6kg to go.No I am not going to be modeling.THe healthy body goes a long way to a healthy mind and of course assists with a healthy spiritual life.

A NEW POEM

Tsunami Lights Out

For years the world around me was in black and white
I accepted that this was good and right
Colour no longer existed but that was okay
As I continued in this world to play

From courtship to marriage in no time at all
You gave me your heart and I was happy and tall
Before I knew it you had coloured my world
And together our lives unfurled

I never saw it coming, there was no warning
The Tsunami of confusion washed over me hurling
My life over and over and now I am sore
Now I am alone and all is quiet and we are no more

What happened? You never did love me!

It's lights out...so dark

LLEWELYN IS BACK

After a long abscence from my blogger, in fact the 15th November 2006, I am back on line.I had to load new software on my computer due to all the viruses and find a new internet provider(Telkom)

My new email address at home is: llewelyn.w@telkomsa.net
Please feel free to contact me.

So much has happened in my life, my divorce from Alison was finalised on the 10th April 2007.At this stage I don't want to comment on this matter.
But on a more positive note, I spent the last weekend with Emmylou in JHB, where I celebrated my birthday in Sandton City. Emmylou is a candidate attorney with Bowman Gilfillan.I was very excited to see her name on the office door and I proudly carry around her business card.Hannah and Emma arrive from London on Friday, to spend two weeks in Durban.I am taking some leave to spend with my grandchild.
I bought a new smaller car at the beginning of the month, a VW Polo 1.6 Comfortline. The Jetta was costing me too much money.(R 15000 in 3 month)

Well more news will follow, together with lots of pictures.

Watch this space!

TRIP TO OLWAZINI MULDERSDRIFT

Trevor Cronje , Head Corporate ABF

My immediate boss on the left, Ray Merrifield

Last week I spent two days at Nedbank's training Centre for our Sales Conference.
What a wonderful two days.Besides working on our strategy for 2007, we took part in some great team building excersises, viz. "drumming" on bongo drums, clay pigeon shooting and riding "quad bikes". Just 10 of us, so it was truly relaxed.
Only negative, my mouth was so sore from mouth ulcers (stress related), that I struggled with my presentation.
