ENGLAND TO WIN RUGBY WORLD CUP?

In view that my daughters currently reside in England, and that my grandchild, Emma, was born there, I have decided to support England in the final of the Rugby World Cup.Needless to say I am the only one in the Nedbank building with this view.
Kevin Haviland (COTC leader) is seeing trying to persuade me otherwise.

LLEWELYN UPDATE

Hi, remember me, I am Llewelyn. Before I update you with events in my life, I had to include a picture of my grandaughter and I on the tube from St.Albans to London. We were on our way to enjoy the "London Eye". That was an amazing experience.
So, what am I up to? Well my life revolves around my work at Nedbank, and my involvent with the new church we started called "Church On The Corner (C.O.T.C.)".Kevin Haviland, who also works at Nedbank, is our leader. Of course this has opened up many opportunities for both of us as we share the preaching.I still lead the Praise and Worship at all the meetings, which include our Monday night Bible Study and Prayer meeting. It is so encouraging to see the growth of the other people who are part of the new church. We have no more room in the house for visitors and are desperate to find a venue.(We have been looking)
The rest of my free time I spend with swimming (every Saturday for an hour), I am jogging a few km three times a week (about 4 km each time).
Also I am working on my first novel called "Charlie Rightwood: A Right Mess", and hope to make it a 3 book series. I have done some alterations to my flat i.e.installing alluminium sliding windows. I have also replaced all my locks and handles with very nice looking brass handles. In November I am going to repaint the flat, the colour will remain, just doing the second coat.
Hannah is pregnant with her second child and will be born in May 2008.
Emmylou has started at Cambridge University UK, doing her masters in International Law and is settling in well. She will graduate in 9 months time.So I will be heading for the UK again next year.Socially I do not go out anymore, I am taking time out to find "Llewelyn", sounds weired, but you know what I mean.
I have included a picture of Charmaine and I singing at Bushmans Neck Hotel in the Drakensberg and Emma and I in the "London Eye".

HOLIDAY IN THE UK

Well thanks to Steven Chaplin, I have been able to access my blogger again.
SAA were advertising a special to London at R 4900 including airport taxes. Well I checked with my boss whether I could go and before long I was on my way to Heathrow.
I had a fantastic holiday, most of the time just bonding with little Emma. She is almost 15 months old and is walking and talking.Of the 200 pictures I took, 90% of them were of Emma.
Hannah and Edward were the perfect hosts, and my son-in-law took some time off to show me around St Albans, Harpendon,Milton Keynes and of course Cambridgeshire.
The latest news is that Emmylou will be doing her Masters at Cambridge University from the the 1st October 2007. She received a bursary from the Commonwealth. So both my girls will be in the UK.
More stories will follow about my trip. Lets show you some photo's.

EMMA HAS 1ST BIRTHDAY

My grandaughter Emma turned one year old on the 21st May.I phoned her in the UK, Hannah put the phone by her ear and apparently she smiled when she heard my voice.
I would love to have been with Edward and Hannah on this special occasion.
Emmylou has received some of the pictures from the great event and I will be posting these on the blog very soon.

I must thank Steven Chaplin for tyding my blogger so that some of the titles don't dissapear.(He is Alison's brother and lives in Auckland New Zealand)

My brother Bernhard is currently in the USA trying to raise financial support for him and Colleen with the view of planting another Church. Please pray for him that God would once again provide.

Otherwise Llewelyn continues to get fit.I am cycling twice a week, running 5km twice a week, swimming for an hour on a Saturday and have started playing tennis on a Thursday night.2kg have come off with 6kg to go.No I am not going to be modeling.THe healthy body goes a long way to a healthy mind and of course assists with a healthy spiritual life.

A NEW POEM

Tsunami Lights Out

For years the world around me was in black and white
I accepted that this was good and right
Colour no longer existed but that was okay
As I continued in this world to play

From courtship to marriage in no time at all
You gave me your heart and I was happy and tall
Before I knew it you had coloured my world
And together our lives unfurled

I never saw it coming, there was no warning
The Tsunami of confusion washed over me hurling
My life over and over and now I am sore
Now I am alone and all is quiet and we are no more

What happened? You never did love me!

It's lights out...so dark
