POP TURNS 48 OR 49 IN CAPE TOWN

Spent 5 days in Cape Town so I could celebrate my sisters birthday with her as well as seeing how my mom is doing. Of course also to see my brother-in-law's new car.

BOOK WILL BE PRINTED JAN 2010

At last I have agreed a price with the printer. My first fiction book, Charlie Rightwood - A Right Mess (A journey from Tarshish To Ninevah), will be out by the end of January 2010. The final editing and layout is being done at the moment by a dear friend of mine.
It will be a proud moment as it has been just over year when I first completed the manuscript.I have tested the book on a few people and the comments have been positive.I have decided to sell the Book privately and will probably sell on request only.
To further improve my writing skills I am currently doing a one year creative writing course with the Writers Bureau in Manchester UK.This will enable me to become a freelance writer.

LLEWELYN UPGRADES HIS VIOLIN

After one year of playing I decided to upgrade my violin. Louise Pallet has a good friend in France,Daniel Soleil, who builds violins using mature wood between 30 and 40 years old.He lives in Vannes, Bretagne. They are copies of the famous Stradavarius. The sound is truly amazing. I enjoy this instrument so much.

ULSO CELEBRATES ONE YEAR OLD

The Umhlanga Late Starters Orchestra celebrated their one year in existence with a function at Dr.Naidoo's home in La Mercy. What a fantastic evening it was. Lovely food and lovely music. Louise Pallet has done a great job in keeping the dream alive.
